If you're missing most or all of your teeth in an arch, you generally have two realistic paths: a traditional removable denture, or a fixed All-on-4 implant-supported prosthesis. They solve the same problem in very different ways.
Removable, lower upfront cost, and no surgery required. The trade-offs: dentures can shift while eating or speaking, often need adhesive, and don't stop the gradual bone loss that occurs once teeth are gone — which can change how they fit over time.
A fixed prosthesis anchored on four implants per arch. It functions much closer to natural teeth — no slipping, no adhesive — and because the implants stimulate the jawbone, it helps prevent the bone loss that dentures don't address. The trade-offs: higher upfront cost and a surgical procedure with a healing period.
